Virtual Office Manager

Contractor Position
The executive team at AAFBG is seeking to employ your skills to ensure we offer an efficient and professional service to our membership and stakeholders.
As our Office Manager, you will be our
Communication Hub
You will monitor and attend to AAFBG email, run our social media and other online messaging tools, liaise with our website managers, and maintain a local AAFBG post office box. Oversee and support other communication channels such as video conferencing.
Team Coordinator
Flag communications and allocate tasks to appropriate executive and committee members. Keep all team members informed and updated regarding deadlines, events, schedules, and appointments.
Resource Manager
Maintain our online repository of resources such as all documents, images, information, and tools for easy access by our team. We may look to you for IT support with this.
Executive Assistant
Support our President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sub-Committee members as requested. Attend, host, and minute video meetings.
Along with your demonstrated background in office administration and your strong communication skills, to be successful in this position you'll need to be very comfortable using current IT tools, resourceful, and flexible with regard to work load and tasks. This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys using creativity in their daily work and is interested in the conservation and development of botanic gardens.
The Australian Association of Friends of Botanic Gardens is a not-for-profit incorporated association. The purpose of the AAFBG is to suport the growth of Friends groups interested in the well-being of botanic gardens throughout Australia. The AAFBG is predominantly run by a team of dedicated volunteers.
